Derek Lindvall, a registered professional engineer in Colorado with 27 years of experience, leads Vivid Engineering’s Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and FHWA Central Federal Lands programs. Specializing in delivering transportation projects, Derek ensures success for clients by providing high-quality construction services and top-tier talent on projects ranging from under $1M to over $100M in construction value.

Derek is instrumental in Vivid's strategic planning, focusing on pursuing new project opportunities and building strong client relationships. His passion for construction oversight has driven his involvement in a wide range of CDOT and municipal projects across Colorado. Active in the professional community, Derek co-chaired the transportation subcommittee for ACEC Colorado, where he earned recognition as Co-chair of the Year. He currently serves on the Board of Directors as the Southern Colorado Director for ACEC Colorado.
