Project Overview:

Vivid Engineering plays a key role in the $1.7 billion Colorado’s Power Pathway project, providing Geotechnical Engineering services and leading Quality Assurance (QA) for Testing and Inspection on the foundation and substation sites across Segments 2 and 3. This project spans 12 counties, involves 550 miles of new double-circuit transmission lines, and includes the development of new substations at Canal Crossing, Goose Creek, and May Valley, as well as expansions of existing substations.

Vivid's work is critical to ensuring the integrity of the foundations and infrastructure needed to support the state’s enhanced electric grid. Colorado’s Power Pathway is expected to boost electric reliability, enable future renewable energy development, and create jobs during construction. The first segments will be operational by 2025, with full completion by 2027. Vivid's expertise is vital in ensuring the project meets high safety and durability standards, helping to shape Colorado’s renewable energy future.
