Vivid Engineering served as the Project Manager, Inspection, and Testing Lead for the City of Cañon City’s 2A Street Repair Project. Their team ensured high-quality work across multiple street repair and reconstruction areas funded by the 1% sales tax increase approved by voters in 2016.

The project has made significant strides in improving the city's streets, focusing on repairing or reconstructing 67% of roads in poor condition. Key areas for 2024 include:

• Reconstruction: 1st & Main Street (US-50 to 4th Street) and Pear Avenue (19th Street to Field Avenue)

• Resurfacing: 5th Street (Fairview Ave to High Street) and Harrison Avenue (9th Street to 15th Street)

With a budget of $6.55 million for 2024, Vivid Engineering's oversight will continue to ensure that Cañon City's streets meet national standards and improve overall road quality.
